Where margin leaks

Facade Rework Costs Your Margin

Curtain wall units have long lead times. One wrong anchor or joint means remade units and delay.

  • Units That Do Not Fit

    Where margin leaks
Curtain wall units built to unchecked dimensions arrive out of line with the structure.
    What we fix
Unit layouts checked against structure, slab edges and openings before fabrication.
  • Anchor and Embed Errors

    Where margin leaks
Misplaced anchors and embeds force field fixes, coring and engineering re-reviews.
    What we fix
Anchor and embed locations coordinated with the structural drawings.
  • Leaks at Interfaces

    Where margin leaks
Unclear joints between systems lead to leaks, failed tests and warranty claims.
    What we fix
Interface, joint and waterproofing details set out for every condition, so tests pass.
  • Glass Lead-Time Delays

    Where margin leaks
Remade glass and units with long lead times hold up enclosure and every trade behind it.
    What we fix
Glass and panel schedules right on the first order, so the enclosure closes on schedule.

What clients ask first

Facade Shop Drawings: Common Questions

Straight answers from our engineering team. If your question isn’t here, ask us directly.

Ask a senior engineer An engineer replies within one business day.
What do your facade shop drawings include?

Fabrication and installation drawings for curtain wall, storefront, window wall and cladding: unit layouts, sections, anchors, interfaces and glass schedules.

Which codes do you follow, and who is responsible for the design?

ASTM E330 and AAMA for US projects; AS 4284 and the NCC for Australian projects. Design responsibility stays with your engineer of record or the system engineer, who reviews and approves the drawings. Bimgraphix does not stamp drawings; we answer for every sheet matching your inputs, and any gap is raised as an RFI, never guessed.

How do you make sure units fit on site?

Units, anchors and joints are coordinated with the structure, slab edges and tolerances, and interfaces with roofing and openings are detailed, before an independent check and senior review.

Can you keep pace with a large, fast-moving program?

Yes. The team is sized to your program and work is released by elevation or level, so nothing waits for the full set. Fees are priced per elevation or per package and fixed in the proposal with the schedule and revision rounds. You can start with one elevation to test the fit first.

Who owns the work, and how is our data handled?

You do. All models and drawings we create for you are your property. We sign your NDA before receiving files, exchange them through Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore or a secure link, and limit access to your project team.
