Get Every Quantity Right Before You Bid
A bid built on miscounted quantities risks material overruns and absorbed change orders. We measure and check every item, so you bid with confidence.

Where margin leaks
Quantity Errors Cost Your Margin
Quantities set the bid and the buy. Every miscount becomes a change order you absorb.
Underpriced Bids
- Where margin leaks
- Missed items and miscounts win the job and lose the margin before work even starts.
- What we fix
- Every item measured from drawings and models, then checked, so your bids hold up.
Material Overruns
- Where margin leaks
- Short or excess orders mean rush freight, wasted material and crews standing idle.
- What we fix
- Quantities by trade, level and zone for accurate buying, so materials arrive on time.
Missed Scope
- Where margin leaks
- Items left out of the takeoff surface later as change orders the client will not pay.
- What we fix
- Scope cross-checked against drawings, specs and addenda, so nothing is left out.
Slow Bid Turnaround
- Where margin leaks
- Late takeoffs force rushed pricing or missed bid dates, and winnable work is lost.
- What we fix
- Fast, checked takeoffs that keep your estimators ahead of every bid deadline.

What clients ask first
Quantity Takeoff: Common Questions
Straight answers from our engineering team. If your question isn’t here, ask us directly.
What does your quantity take-off include?
Measured quantities of every material and item, by trade, level and zone, from drawings and BIM models, in your cost codes and estimating format.
Which standards do you follow, and who owns the final estimate?
MasterFormat, UniFormat and AACE practice for US projects; ASMM and AIQS practice for Australian projects. Bimgraphix does not certify quantities or take estimating liability; your estimator owns the final price. We answer for every quantity tracing back to a drawing, sheet or model element, with assumptions listed so your team can review them.
How do you make sure quantities are right?
Every take-off is measured against the latest drawings, specifications and addenda, independently checked and senior-reviewed before release.
Can you keep pace with a large, fast-moving program?
Yes. The team is sized to your program and work is released by trade or package, so nothing waits for the full set. Fees are priced per project or per trade and fixed in the proposal with the schedule and revision rounds. You can start with one trade package to test the fit first.
Who owns the work, and how is our data handled?
You do. All drawings and take-offs we create for you are your property. We sign your NDA before receiving files, exchange them through your preferred platform or a secure link, and limit access to your project team.
