Where margin leaks

Gate Rework Costs Your Margin

Gates and fences run hundreds of feet. Every drawing error repeats down the line as rework and callbacks.

  • Field Fit Problems

    Where margin leaks
Panels and posts that miss grades, setbacks or driveways clash on site and are remade.
    What we fix
Every run checked against the site plan, levels and boundaries, so panels fit first time.
  • Failed Inspections

    Where margin leaks
Gates and pool fences that miss safety or wind rules fail sign-off and must be reworked.
    What we fix
Drawings prepared to UL 325, ASTM F2200, AS 1926 and AS/NZS 1170, so sign-off comes first time.
  • Sagging and Binding Gates

    Where margin leaks
Undersized frames, hinges or tracks bind and sag, and crews keep coming back unpaid.
    What we fix
Frames, hardware and operator mounts sized and detailed first, so gates run smoothly.
  • Repeated Errors at Scale

    Where margin leaks
One drawing error repeats across every panel on a long run, multiplying the rework cost.
    What we fix
Standardized, checked drawings for every panel and gate type, so errors never repeat.

What clients ask first

Metal Gates and Fences: Common Questions

Straight answers from our engineering team. If your question isn’t here, ask us directly.

Ask a senior engineer An engineer replies within one business day.
What do your gate and fence drawings include?

Fabrication and installation drawings for steel and aluminum gates and fences: frames, infill, posts, footings, hinges, tracks and operator mounts, for swing, sliding, cantilever, automated, pedestrian and security gates.

Which codes do you follow, and who is responsible for the design?

UL 325, ASTM F2200 and ASCE 7 wind loads for US projects; AS 1926.1 and AS/NZS 1170.2 for Australian projects. Design responsibility stays with your engineer of record, who reviews and seals the work. Bimgraphix does not stamp drawings; we answer for every sheet matching your design inputs, and any gap is raised as an RFI, never guessed.

How do you make sure gates operate and pass inspection?

Swing paths, clearances, operator mounts and entrapment zones are checked against UL 325 or AS 1926, and post and footing layouts against the site plan, before an independent check and senior review.

Can you keep pace with a large, fast-moving program?

Yes. The team is sized to your program and work is released by site area or gate type, so nothing waits for the full set. Fees are priced per gate type or per run and fixed in the proposal with the schedule and revision rounds. You can start with one gate type to test the fit first.

Who owns the work, and how is our data handled?

You do. All models and drawings we create for you are your property. We sign your NDA before receiving files, exchange them through Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore or a secure link, and limit access to your project team.
