Mechanical 3D modeling
Get Every Assembly Right Before You Machine It
A machine built from an unchecked model means scrap and rework. We create machine-ready 3D models and check every assembly, so parts fit the first time.

Where margin leaks
Assembly Rework Costs Your Margin
Machined parts are costly to remake. One fit error on the shop floor means scrap and late delivery.
Parts That Do Not Fit
- Where margin leaks
- Fit and tolerance stack-up errors surface only after parts are machined.
- What we fix
- Fits, tolerances and stack-ups checked in the assembly model, so parts fit the first time.
Scrapped Machined Parts
- Where margin leaks
- Drawing errors turn expensive castings, forgings and billets into scrap.
- What we fix
- Every feature dimensioned and checked before release, so costly stock is cut only once.
Assembly Interferences
- Where margin leaks
- Moving parts collide or bind once the machine is assembled, and parts are remade.
- What we fix
- Motion and interference checks on every assembly, so machines run right at first build.
Late Engineering Changes
- Where margin leaks
- Changes after release ripple through suppliers, tooling and schedules, adding cost.
- What we fix
- Designs resolved and verified in 3D before release, so suppliers build it once.

How Much Margin Is Assembly Rework Quietly Costing You?
A two-minute Margin Assessment shows where your programs leak, in dollars, and what parts that fit the first time could save.
What clients ask first
Mechanical 3D Modeling: Common Questions
Straight answers from our engineering team. If your question isn’t here, ask us directly.
What does mechanical 3D modeling include?
Precise 3D models of mechanical parts and assemblies, with fits, tolerances and motion checked, plus manufacturing drawings, in your CAD platform.
Which standards do you follow, and who is responsible for the design?
ASME Y14.5 for US clients and AS 1100 for Australian clients. Design responsibility stays with your engineering team, who approve the final models. Bimgraphix does not stamp or certify designs; we answer for the model matching your inputs, and any conflict is flagged for your decision, never guessed.
How do you make sure assemblies fit?
Fits, tolerances and interference are checked in the assembly, and every part is checked for manufacturability before release.
Can you keep pace with a large, fast-moving program?
Yes. The team is sized to your program and work is released by assembly, so nothing waits for the full set. Fees are priced per part or per assembly and fixed in the proposal with the schedule and revision rounds. You can start with one assembly to test the fit first.
Who owns the work, and how is our data handled?
You do. All designs and models we create for you are your property. We sign your NDA before receiving files, exchange them through your preferred platform or a secure link, and limit access to your project team.
