Where margin leaks

Unclear Home Plans Cost Your Margin

On custom homes, margin is lost in small things: a missed detail, a late change, a surprised client.

  • Client Changes Mid-Build

    Where margin leaks
Clients who cannot read plans change course on site, adding real cost and delay.
    What we fix
Floor plan and exterior renderings let clients decide early, before changes cost money.
  • Permit Delays

    Where margin leaks
Sets returned with comments push back every start date and stall your cash flow.
    What we fix
Sets checked to the IRC, NCC and local codes before they go to council for approval.
  • Trades Guessing Details

    Where margin leaks
Missing interior and finish details cause rework and disputes with owners and trades.
    What we fix
Interior drawings detail every finish, joinery and fixture, so trades price and build right.
  • Slow Turnaround

    Where margin leaks
Designs wait weeks for drafting capacity, so sales stall and buyers look elsewhere.
    What we fix
Dedicated drafting capacity keeps your pipeline moving through your busy seasons.

What clients ask first

Custom Home Drawings: Common Questions

Straight answers from our engineering team. If your question isn’t here, ask us directly.

Ask a senior engineer An engineer replies within one business day.
What is included in your custom home drawings?

Floor plans, elevations, sections, foundation, framing and roof plans, door and window schedules, interior working drawings and the details your permit authority and builder need, plus optional floor plan, exterior and interior renderings.

Which codes do you design to?

The IRC and local amendments in the US, and the NCC and relevant Australian Standards in Australia, with the final design approved by your designer or engineer of record.

Who is responsible for the design?

Design responsibility stays with your architect or engineer of record, who reviews and seals the work. Bimgraphix does not stamp drawings; we answer for every sheet matching your design inputs, and any gap is raised as an RFI, never guessed.

How fast can you start, and how is it priced?

Most programs start within a week. We quote per sheet, per model, per floor or per package and confirm the schedule in writing before work begins, so dates and costs are known on day one. You can start with one package and judge the quality before committing the full program.

Is our project information kept confidential?

Yes. We work under your NDA from the first file. Everything we produce belongs to you, is shared only through Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore or a secure link, and is seen only by the team assigned to your project.
